English Wheels, also known as Wheeling Machines
An English Wheel is a metalworking tool that enables the user to form compound curves in sheets of metal. The wheeling process stretches the metal between a top rolling wheel and the bottom anvil wheel. With different anvils, varying curvature can be added to the metal. English Wheels are commonly used to fabricate coach-built automotive panels, aircraft skins, and more. With an English Wheel, fabrication shops and DIY-hobbyists can recreate panels that are no longer available.
