Before activating, shake aerosol vigorously for 1 min. Take red button from cap. Rotate aerosol 180 degrees and attach button to pin on aerosol bottom. Place aerosol on firm ground upside down. Press red button with the ball of your hand until stop is reached.After activating, shake aerosol again vigorously for 2 min. Pot life 48 hours at 68 degrees.

Not worth the money!I've used this product in the past and have good luck when it was just a standard aerosol can. Not worth the money since you can only use about 3/4 of the cans now then it stops spraying a nice even stream. Probably on one of the worst clear coat results I've ever had! And yes, I did follow the prep instructions.
Would this work for a transmission oil pan ? Bare metal as from the factory.

It could be used. Just be sure to have it chemically clean, a good pre cleaner. Also have at least a gray scotch-brite scratch to the metal. Some form of "bite" is best.

Can this be used on bare aluminum?

Yes, Eastwood 2K Matte Clear can be applied over bare aluminum. However, for optimal adhesion and durability, it is recommended to first prepare the aluminum surface properly. This includes cleaning the surface thoroughly before applying the 2K Matte Clear.

Can I put this over Eastwood 2K AeroSpray Chassis Black Satin Spray Paint, on my brake drums to achieve a Matte finish and not a satin finish? Or would it not work and just look weird?
