TIG sticks
Haven't used the ones I purchased. Actually bought as spares or standbys. I am confident that they will work as well as the original purchased with the TIG 200.

I purchased a TIG/Plasma cutter combination about 2 years ago. I am not a very experienced TIG welder. The project that I needed the TIG welder for was delayed until recently. I started using the 200 TIG, following instruction, but ran into issues. Most turned out to be my technique. However, a couple of issues were due to gauges being off and foot controls were too sensitive at the upper thresholds. The gauge indicator was off a few pounds and blowing my arc too much. Eastwood offered to replace it but all I had to do was adjust it down to lower than what their chart suggested. However, the foot control was too sensitive. Eastwood (Scott) sent me a new control and in the new style and a couple of newer electrodes. Tremendous difference... In my opinion, Eastwood has excellent customer service!

E3 is great, very versitle
It's cheaper to buy from welding store, comes is packet of 10 for same price Eastwood sells for 2.

General purpose Tungsten
A little pricey but good quality. I’ve been welding with them for almost a month, and they’re holding up well.

Does the purple tungsten need to be balled for welding aluminum on AC?
We would just recommend it being sharpened when welding aluminum.
