Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very durable and customizable set up I upgrading our garage with a new 33 gal. air compressor. This has given me the use of more air tools and I decided to give this RapidAir system a try. All I can say is, I love this system. Its really easy to install, once you draw up your diagram, as to how you want things layed out. The tubing is flexible, but not soft, if that makes sense. The supplied cutter make cuts easy and clean. The quick release fittings are easy to use and seal well with no leaks. The thing I like most about this air line system, is you can customize it as to how you want it and can buy extra parts if needed. Its very durable and holds up well in the winter and summer months. My advice would be to not leave the air in the system in the winter months, because of water freezing in the air line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellant Kit The install was quick and easy, had no problems with the tubing as I warmed it in the sun. Just the right amount of fittings. Used elbow fittings to drain condensate into the block wall. A quality product. I reccomend it highly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Outstanding Easy to work with. Quality parts that are very customizable. Must use pipe thread sealant for screw in fittings instead of Teflon tape. My only complaint is that the tubing will turn your hands and anything it touches blue (unless you clean the tubing first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from install there is a trick to put it up, it comes coiled, if you try to straighten it up before installing you will only be frustrated. install the clips first, then give it a onetime straightening as you uncoil it. install it in the clip which will hold it and proceed to install, it goes real fast this way.

Just purchase a #31438 air compressor do I need 3/8 air line are should I get the 1/2 air line

Asked by: Seamore65
It really depends upon what you plan on using the air for. Most painting equipment and blasters should be 1/2" or larger.

Will this work in unheated garage

Asked by: Sparkplug
Yes and I must say very well. I live in Chicago and the winters can be very cold here. I haven't had any issues of leakage or cracking. The hose line is very durable and fittings are very durable.

Is it possible/advisable to run the 3/4" line underground to my shed, from the garage?

Asked by: Chazzman
It is possible to run air lines under ground. A few things that are a must. Check with your local building codes to see what the frost line is in your area. The air line will need to be below the frost line. You will also need a Air Dryer before the the line goes under ground.

The video depicts a very different looking system than the parts in the still image paired with it. This leaves me wondering about how to install what I would receive on order and what tools I would need.

Asked by: frankusz
In that video they were showing Item #14976. That is the Master kit.
