Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, no-frills belt/disc sander Excellent, no-frills belt/disc sander for this price point. Belt has been predictably placed and re-centering is easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Belt sander It seems to work well I’ve only used it to sharpen tungsten for tig.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More powerful than expected I’ve had this sander for about a week, and it performs better than expected with respect to power. I give it 5 stars, but if I had to find any cons with it, I’d have to say it’s a little louder than I hoped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very nice product!!! I purchased the sander about 2 weeks ago. Very solid machine, does not bog down when using it. I purchased a different one from a different store and its base was a thin metal, it was not sturdy at all. I tried to sand burrs off a end of a pipe and it could barely sand it, junk!!! I threw it in its box and brought it back to harbor f****ht. I love this sander from Eastwood, very good rpms, and solid base(does not vibrate around) I do a lot of metal work and this machine fits in good in my shop. I purchased other products from eastwood and was happy with them. I will be buying more products from Eastwood!!! Thanks again , Jeff D.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made product! I don't usually buy tools from other companies that I'm not really sure of but I shopped around and did my research on most of the mid range combo sanders and this one stood out. When it came I was all excited to use it and it is so easy to use.The table part could have been made of heavier made of heavier material but I can live with it. The belt is so easy to change and adjust for proper tracking. I would recommend this product to my friends.

I bought this same sander from Rockwell but it had the name "Shop series" on it. Used it for 20 minutes and the belt stopped turning. It was brand new and has the same specifications as this one. Did I get a bad one or are all of them weak?

Asked by: RodJ
We have not experienced that with ours. If you have issue we include a 1 year hassle free warranty.

What are the capabilities to bolt this down to a bench, and what size is the outlet for the dust collector?

Asked by: duke
It has a 2" outlet for the dust collection. It has rubber feet and does not need to be bolted down but does have bolt holes in the base flange which is about 1/2" thick. 3/8" bolts will work fine for bolting it down.

How does this attach to the sanding disc? Is it an Adhesive Backing? Thanks

Asked by: Tucsonmax1
I’m having a hard time maneuvering to check out while trying to buy this sander. As far as I now I have almost purchased 2 units. Trying to fine final price and shipping is almost inpossible to obtain. It just maybe me but it should not be this hard to check out.
