Lets say I need to make two 90 degree bends in a small piece of sheet metal, to form a a "U" channel, with right angles at the bottom. What is the smallest distance between the outside edges I could hope to make?
I need to bend an 8" long x 1.25" wide x 3/16" flat bar with a 1" radius bend at the 4" mark. My question is can I tack on a piece with the radius I need on both dies. I am thinking of a 1" pipe cut in half tacked to both dies front and back. Thanks
Are there interchangeable dies of different degrees? Also, do you have acute angle dies for this bender?
