Just got my unit yesterday after waiting 4 months. Got it set up today and started building a small aluminum box. On the 10th and final bend I heard a pop and the magnets are stopped working. Not a breaker. Let sit for hours, no luck. Please advise

What gauge aluminum will this handle?
This unit will bend Aluminum up to 16 gauge in thickness and up to 48" width.

How small of a channel can it make? I need to be able to make pretty tight channels and need to know the smallest it will go.
0.635" is the smallest bar, so that would be the size channel.

Can it bend smaller pieces of 14 gauge if not trying to bend full width?
Although the Eastwood 48" Electro-Brake(32601) may be able to apply enough clamping force to hold 14 gauge mild steel it is only recommended to bend up to 16 gauge mild steel or damage may result.

Will this unit work with 208v single phase?
It is recommended to operate this unit with Standard Single Phase 220/240volt AC current at 60hz on a grounded circuit with a minimum 20 amp breaker. A dedicated circuit is preferred.
208volt Single phase is not a recommended current for this unit..

The listing says 240V but the instruction manual says 220V. What is the correct voltage and +/- percent to be within. Need to determine if a buck transformer is required prior to ordering.
You can use either a 220volt or 240volt. The unit will clamp and function correctly on either voltage.

How much does the complete unit weigh?
Total weight of the Eastwood 48" Electro Brake is 330 LBS

Does this one suffer from the same problem the baileigh version does? Where is has to to be 220v, not 240 ( standard US dual leg power). They pretty much require a boost/buck transformer else they say you will fry the magnet and void the warranty.
This unit requires standard single phase 240 volts.
