Liquid Ice Finishing System for buffing
For a quality one-stop all in solution you can't beat this. I have an Eastwood buffer to go with it and if it can make me look like I know what I'm doing ( I don't) then its top of the line. Canadian customer and I love Eastwood products and dealing with them. Made my sketchy paint job on the 72 GMC project actually look ok and most impressive was taking out the ton of dog scratches on my 2019 GMC .... surprised at how well that worked out.

Review
Product looks promising and after watching a video of this product in use, I purchased it. I have not use it yet since I’m still doing body work on my car but I’ll try it soon. I love the fact that it comes complete having the necessary step to get a correct finish rather watching YouTube videos of just using a single step process which may not get you a completely satisfied finish. Anyways, I’m new to this stuff so I’m eager to try even though I’ll dislike the work.

Liquid Ice finishing system
Easy to use, works as advertised. I also ended up ordering some Liquid Ice Ultra-fine finishing compound that is suggested for dark colors as well as a polishing pad spur tool, to clean the wool pad and to de-fuzz it as it was shedding like crazy when I first used it.

Great system
I bought this product because I used it years ago when I was working in the body shops and it works well. The only thing I can saw, is when ordering this kit, be sure to get 2 quarts of compound, you will need it to get the best results.

Questions & Answers
I have a ceramic finish on my truck. It’s about 4 year’s old. It still has a beautiful shine, but I can see a lot of scratches on it. Will this product get these scratches out? Will it ruin the ceramic finish?
Yes, this kit can be used for and on the application in reference.

Do you have to use a rotary buffer or can I use a random orbital?
This system is designed for a rotary buffer such as the Eastwood Variable Speed 7"- 9" Buffer Polisher(32488)

I've finished through the blue pad and start on white tomorrow. I was thinking about how to clean the pads. What and how do you clean them so they can be re-used later?
A good way to clean pads is to gently work them with a toothbrush to remove excess polish from the pad

I own a 70 year old truck and want to preserve the patina finish. On the exterior I'lll be applying your Patina Perserver. On the interior, I will either apply your Aerosol Mat Clear or this Liquid Ice Finish. What would be your preference and why?
You are right on track with the Patina Preserver Aerosol(114995Z) for the exterior of your truck. For the interior the Eastwood 2K Aero Matt Clear(14792Z) would be a good option as well as Eastwood's Matt Clear Single Stage paint(12458ZP). The Liquid Ice System( 51561Z) is not a finish it is a polishing system that is designed to polish new and or existing automotive paint finishes. It is not designed to be a patina preserver. The 2k Aero Matt Clear would be a nice interior finish,

I do not notice any difference between step 2 and 3. Am I doing something wrong maybe? After step 3 it looks okay but not as glassy as I am used to seeing with the 3M process.
Step 2 will remove most of the fine scratches left from compounding the vehicle. Step 3 is the final process to remove every fine scratch and give it the highest gloss level.
