These are awesome
I bought the 8 piece set. I am a beginning mig welder and the welds I make usually require clean up. I was amazed to see how great these work cleaning up high spots on my welds. They cut fast and clean, exceeding my expectations by miles !!!

carbide rotary files
if you are a hobbyist or like to work on cars where you need to make modifications to make things fit these will serve you well. As a machine repairman in industry for 36 years, these rotary files are as good as any i have used. I would recommend this product

Surprised
I have used Eastwood Carbide bits in the past and they exceeded my expectations. I used them for porting a Cummins head, aftermarket exhaust manifold, and turbine housing. These bits remain chip free and sharp through many hours of use.

I received these double angled cutters. WOW, they do remove material, all you have to do is guide them, and let the chips fly. I will re-order when my set gets dull.

I purchased along with the 4 piece dual cut carbide set to port a cast iron MGA cylinder head. I used a variable speed drill rather than a die grinder. Bits are very sharp out of the box, and cut rapidly, especially the rough casting material. My criticism of these bits is that the shaft is too short. The 4 piece set had greater utility due to the longer reach. These are far superior to anything I've ever seen at the local hardware or big box stores.

I wasn't expecting the quality and durability for the price, so was pleasantly surprised. Even the holding-case is nice, form-fitting with magnetic-latch. I punished a couple of these on inside-corner weld-beads, and metal-chips were just flying! No bluing (yet) either.

Great performance
These were part of my first order from Eastwood, I was very impressed with their performance. I had to ream out some hardened frame steel, light pressure starting out because these burr cutters will cut faster than you realize. When I was done, I could not tell that I had used the cutter, all the teeth were totally intact and not dulled in the least.
I plan to equip my shop with Eastwood tools, GREAT TOOLS EASTWOOD !!!!

Holy Cow
If you never used a double cut. Just be fore warned these suckers bit hard and quick and remove materail faster than normal carbide. I was shocked!!
Glad I bought them,used for rod beaming and deburring block and heads (Only for heavy materail removel)

Are these Tungsten Carbide or just Carbide?
These are strictly Carbide.

What is over all length of the burs? Can they be used on cast iron?
All burrs have a 1-1/2" long, 1/4" shaft. Then since the burrs have slightly different sizes the over all length will change a bit.
