Performed Excellently
It accomplished the job efficiently and the instructions were easy to follow. Only drawback is it needs replaceable oil (comes with enough for one use). Does not describe oil in the instructions, but I'm sure an experienced A/C tech will probably know. Otherwise, you'll have to come back to site of purchase. Need to clean manufacturing burrs and dust from oil fill hole before use.

Can this pump be used for vacuum bagging carbon parts?
This pump was designed for the evacuation of the refrigerant. It has a vacuum rating of 3CFM. we do not know if that will be enough to do your vacuum bagging.

What oil is recommended for this pump?
Standard vacuum pump oil would be fine.
