I have a 1999 GMC 3500 Sierra with a 350ci engine. I am interested in eventually replacing it with a 383 stroker engine. Will the 383Ci 500Hp fuel injected engine be a direct replacement or will modifications be required to make it fit?

does the block have location for mechanical fuel pump.
An electric fuel pump must be used with this.
