Rated 5 out of 5 by from Auto Dolly These are really well built and work awesome. I really like the fact they are made in the US and have good quality steel. The rollers work well, allowing easy movement of the car. I very satisfied and would buy them again.

Questions & Answers

How do you lock the wheels and stop your car from leaving the garage on its own?

Asked by: Jimmbo
I have had a set of these and have used them under a couple of my cars while in building stages. My completed cars weighing in at 3800 - 4100 lbs require at least two people and a lot of effort to shove the car around on a flat concrete floor, especially if the wheels are not all facing the same way initially. Unless you have a considerable slope, you should not have to worry about your car rolling on its own. As suggested though, a very small chock (the size of a matchstick) could be used under a dolly wheel for added piece of mind.

Are the wheels coated to prevent damage to epoxy finished concrete floors?

Asked by: JT54
There is no special coating applied to the casters to protect epoxy floors. The casters on the Eastwood Auto Dolly Set(43602) have Ball bearing axles and are made of composit plastic material (Not Steel) They will not mark up a clean epoxy floor and should work well to protect your floor finish.
