Description

The Velcro Faced Cushioned Backing Pad will accept the Cleaning Disc (31096) (produces an 80 grit finish) or the Stripping Disc (31075) (produces a 320 grit finish). The Backing Pad is threaded to accept a 5/8" x 11 shaft. This pad can also be adapted to your drill with the optional Mandrel Adapter (40011 D). Maximum speed 6000 rpm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Backing pad I been doing body and paint work for many years and have always used 36 grit 8in grinding disc on a 3m backing pad for paint removal. After watching a Eastwood video about this paint removal disc I though I'd give it a try. The backing pad is really good and inexpensive. The striping disc work extremely well and leaves the surface without any deep scratches. Good product.
