Repeat customer on this Glass Bead.I bought more of this and then cleaned out the whole cabinet. The Eastwood cabinet works better, stays cleaner and the filter lasts much longer between cleanings. I love the sheen it leaves as opposed to the crushed glass.

Perfect for my Eastwood Cabinet !Bought this a few weeks ago, and arrived with NO leaking@! Then I tried it out in my Eastwood cabinet with the Eastwood Filter system. This was 100% better than using crushed glass or oxides as I can actually SEE what I'm doing now! Its Just coarse enough to use on mild rusted steel as well. Can blast pistons too if needed. This really make the blasting cabinet stand out and made my pieces blasted look much much better. This will keep the cabinet MUCH cleaner, your window protection lasts longer as does your system filter.
Is this glass bead spherical, or is it shards of crushed glass?

looking to blast 1958 MGA, hood, trunk, doors are thin aluminum, will this keep the head down so the parts will not wrap?

Glass bead is one of the best blast media for working with Aluminum. It is cooler on the surface than courser media which will help to eliminate warping. Eastwood offer 2 type of glass bead our 70/100 grit size is #22.23 and our 100/170(fine) grit is # 13722. These items come in 50lb bags. You may also consider Walnut Shell as a blast media #22018 as it is a good media for Aluminum Blasting and will produce low heat.

Would this be the right blast media to use on alloy wheels that are pitted and clear is peeling off to clean them up than piant them?
