Description

Get rid of major imperfections in everything from steel to zinc using a 6-inch spiral buff wheel. This is a dependable, well-balanced and long-wearing wheel for coarse buffing and cutting all materials. Each wheel is made from selected white cotton material with continuous sewing and 3/8" spacing. The face is half an inch thick with 40-ply construction for extra sturdiness.

Use our spiral sewn buffing wheel for half-inch motor arbors with Tripoli or stainless compound as needed. The Tripoli buff compound makes it a step 1 wheel for soft metals such as brass and copper while stainless compound is good for an intermediate wheel on hard metals and chrome. Its width allowed access into hard to reach areas that required the wheel to flex yet remain rigid enough not fold. It appears long lasting as mine shows minimal wear after polishing 22.5 truck wheels. I suggest one buff wheel for each compound grit. I used the four compound kit and found it satisfactory. Wish I had ordered more the first time.

They are of the best construction and sewing that makes them strong and strudy at high speed polishing. I hope that Eeastwood Co. comes up with some kind of plastic insert bushing ,so they can be made universal in different size shafts on buffers, say from 1/2" to 3/4" size shafts, plastic tube type bushings would work.     What is the arbor size and the thickness of the 8" Dia. wheel ? I require a 3/4" center hole.

    That one in particular is a 1/2in arbor. You would need to jump to a 10inch wheel 13038 to accommodate a 3/4in arbor.
