Buff Wheel 8 in Canton 1/2 in Hole

Product Overview:

Description

Polish everything from body panels to jewelry by adding this Canton 8-inch buff wheel to your buffing motor. This step 3 compound buff wheel is an extra-soft wheel recommended for all final coloring operations. It’s made of the finest combed flannel to create an extra soft nap with a ½-inch wide face to give you the most brilliant finish of all the buffs. The arbor hole fits ½-inch or 5/8-inch holes on motors with up to ¾-HP for fast, smooth results that restore the luster to dulled surfaces.

We recommend using our Canton buffing wheel with Jeweler's Rouge, White Rouge, or Plastic compound. While this wheel is particularly effective on gold and silver, it also works well on hard metals, soft metals and chrome or nickel plating. Use the chart below or read our buffing wheel and compound selection article in the Eastwood Garage for more information. Do the Job Right on every finishing project with our 8-inch buff wheel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Love Affair is Not Without Flaws Overall I love Eastwood and their products. Representatives are always helpful and hugely knowledgable. However, like all love affairs, there are faults. The phone system is prehistoric, clumsy and ineffective. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes, you get prompted to an auto-dial back which never comes. One of their telephone numbers is a doctor's office in Michigan (literally) who immediately asks if you are looking for Eastwood. When I finally got thru to a human, we were disconnected and never got a call back. On the other hand, I have called and chatted with some of the best professionals i have ever encountered. 5 stars on products and 1 star on telephones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work Great, but Very fine wheel. Only problem, probably of my own making - after several years on the shelf, wheel was gummy with rouge, and left smear on silverware. Am going to order new wheels. When new, they worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for polishing Silver I got these to put on my bench grinder so i wife can polish her silversmithing projects. They do a super job, nice and soft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great I found this buffing wheel to work great for final polishing used with the Eastwood White Rouge. A previous wheel I tried filled the air with strings of cloth while this one is much cleaner to use. It wears as you would expect so I will probably be ordering another soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 4 inch Buff Wheel The small wheel works perfectly in the smaller air tools and/or a small drill. It works well while polishing the bright work on an engine for example. Mine has been used to polish headers (block hugger), pulley's, carb covers and even some of my wife's antique silver. A fairly priced, small buff wheel that is easily applied to the small cramped places you can't always get too...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not a happy camper.... Our company has been buying these Buff Wheels since before I started working here two years ago. This last order came and apparently, Eastwood decided to change suppliers and it is NOT a good change. These pads are made differently and are much thinner, which means we have to double up and in turn, double the cost. Looking for a new option now.

Our Ten inch buff wheels fit an arbor size of 3/4-7/8. So you do not need to find another part number. It fits more than one size shaft.
