This is not designed to be sprayed over rust. The rust has to be treated or remove first before applying this.

Can you use this over your black rust encapsulator?  Plan was to clean rusted metal, cover with the black encapsulator, then spray this over it as a rubberized top coat.

I plan on taking my wheel well and fender to bare metal, and applying this Rubberized Undercoating. When should I apply seam sealer? Should I prime with epoxy primer, seam seal, and then undercoat?
