Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 5 stars as far as removal goes This does great as far as heavy rust and thick paint removal goes, I give it 5 stars. However, you better have a really good head on your gun. This will eat up your consumables big time. Carbide nozzles, hoses, guns are all going to take alot of wear from this. But if you need it removed fast, this will do it.

Questions & Answers

I just purchased your 200 lbs abrasive blaster today I know it’s a lot more corse and hard on the blaster but if I blast my trailer with silicon carbide I figured if I only do it to frame once it should be ok correct?

Asked by: Ryan
These blasters really recommend using 80 grit or finer (so 80 grit or a larger number). This media is a 60 grit. We can not guarantee that these units will not clog using a media this coarse.

I want to blast the frame of my snowmobile trailer that’s never been done before since it was new back in 1998 and all the Magnesium chloride on the roads created a lot of rust.  What media should I use media wise & blaster combination? Thanks

Asked by: Ryan
Either our Silicon Carbide or our 90 grit aluminum oxide would be great for that application.

Will silicon carbon work with dustless blaster with a # 5 nozzle. Also I use water with it

Asked by: In dust we trust
This blast media would certainly work with our Liquid media blast system. Outside of that we have not tested it in other dustless brand units.

The nozzle should be pair to the application and CFM requirements. You should be able to run any nozzle we sell with this carbide.
