While I don't know precisely, you can zoom in on the drawing of the worm gear and try to count the teeth. I'd estimate 45:1.

Could I add a DC Reversible Motor with controls for rpm speed to this?

While this unit is designed to simply run off of a drill we see it possible to fabricate a dc motor directly to this turntable. Since this is outside the design parameters we wouldn't have any specifications on how build it.
