Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black® Aerosol Satin and Gloss
  1. Surface must be clean and dry before painting. Use Eastwood PRE Painting Prep (10041Z) to remove grease and oil. Can be used on bare metal, or over primer. For increased adhesion and durability, prime clean, bare metal with Extreme Chassis Black® Primer, prime firmly adhering rust with Eastwood Rust Encapsulator™. Wait 15 minutes to 36 hours ( scuff surface beyound 36 hours with 320 grit) and topcoat with Extreme Chassis Black™. Do not use over self-etching primers. Test for compatibility if not using over Extreme Chassis Black® Primer or Eastwood Rust Encapsulator™. For best results, use when can and surface are between 70 degrees and 90 degrees F (21 degrees and 32 degrees C), 50% or less humidity.
  2. SHAKE CAN VIGOROUSLY for at least one minute before and occasionally during use. Spray surface with steady, even strokes at a distance of 8 to 10 inches. Several light coats give a better finish then one heavy coat.
  3. Apply enough paint to achieve full hiding. For a faster cure, apply a maximum of 2 coats primer and 2 coats Chassis Black. Allow 24 hours between coats.
  4. If clogging develops, turn spray button ¼ turn or remove and clean spray button slot. DO NOT stick objects into can opening.
  5. Finished article should be allowed to dry 48-72 hours before use.
  6. After painting turn can upside down and spray for 2 seconds to clean spray button.
  7. Do not incinerate or compact empty cans.
Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black® Quart Satin and Gloss
  1. Surface must be clean and dry before painting. Use Eastwood PRE Painting Prep (10041Z) to remove grease and oil. Can be used on bare metal, or over primer. For increased adhesion and durability, prime clean, bare metal with Extreme Chassis Black® Primer. Wait 15 minutes to 1 hour and topcoat with Extreme Chassis Black®. Do not use over self-etching primers. Test for compatibility if not using over Extreme Chassis Black® Primer. For best results, use when can and room temperature are between 70 degrees and 90 degrees F (21 degrees and 32 degrees C), 50% or less humidity.
  2. Stir for at least one minute before use.
  3. For Spray-on Application: Several light coats give a better finish then one heavy coat. Contents are thinned to sprayable consistency. If desired, further thin with Toluol or Xylol. Apply enough paint to achieve full hiding. For a faster cure, apply a maximum of 2 coats primer and 2 coats Chassis Black. Allow 24 hours between coats.
  4. Finished article should be allowed to dry 48-72 hours before use.

Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black® Primer Aerosol
  1. Clean all surfaces thoroughly to ensure surface is free from all grease, oil, and any polysilicons. Eastwood's PRE (#10041Z aerosol or #10194ZP quart) is recommended. Make sure that the steel is free from rust. For best results, use when can and surface are between 70 degrees and 90 degrees F (21 degrees and 32 degrees C), 50% or less humidity.
  2. If making spot repairs, feather-edge by sanding original finish. Do not use Extreme Chassis Black® Primer over new enamel.
  3. Shake can for 2 full minutes after mixing ball moves freely. Use in a well ventilated area.
  4. Apply by holding can 10 to 15 inches (25 to 30 cm) from surface. Spray two thin coats allowing 24 hours between coats. Opaque black color indicates full coverage has been achieved.
  5. Extreme Chassis Black® Primer can be top coated with Original or Extreme Chassis Black® after 24 hours.
  6. After painting turn can upside down and spray for 2 seconds to clean spray button.
  7. Do not incinerate or compact empty can.
Eastwood Extreme Chassis Black® Primer Quart
