The RCP-C583VS compressor utilizes an all cast iron piston compressor pump. This pump is built to last and features a finned discharge tube for cooler operation, tapered roller bearings, and automotive style wrist pins for increased lifespan. Inside of the pump, disc and spring valves are utilized rather than reed or finger valves. Disc valves are more reliable and can be changed without pulling the entire pump apart.
