One of the best O/A torches
This torch has some very unique and beneficial characteristics that make it more useful than most other o/a outfits (or welding set-ups in general.)
In short, the induction action in the mixing chamber causes minimal flame turbulence, very focused and minimal HAZ (big /w thin guage and precious metals--even TIG can really struggle here) and little gas consumption.
However, this unit has a high-ceiling learning curve with some things, such as cutting and gaining speed with thicker material, and takes quite a bit of practice for proficiency.
It's not cheap, but if youre willing to put the time in, its a great fabrication investment.

Great Gas Torch!
I have owned one of these for years. I work in the Aircraft industry and this torch is perfect for tubing clusters. And it saves gas usage over standard gas torches. Very easy to set the flame and the pistol grip is very comfortable when doing a lot of welding.

Do I need special low-pressure regulators for this torch?
No you do not. The pressures claimed are not right. 4 psi is not recommended. Use regulators and do not guess. Regular regulators are preferred. This will never take TIG out of any picture.

What size of tip should I use for 30mm thick cast aluminium ?
Cobra recommends a No. 3 Tip for heavy welding of cast aluminum.

Where can I get the numbers 1 and 2 TIPS for this torch??? . .I don't need a big set of them, as I never use the number 0 and rarely use the number 3, so they are like new yet, but number 2 size is shot already.

I just want to be clear on your response from the question can this torch cut circles or holes. Did you mean the oxy-acetylene torch from this kit can do it or just I purchase another torch for that? Thanks
While this kit can cut circles or holes the kit doesn't come with a guide which does so. You would have to find a way to secure the tip or having something to guide the tip as you cut out your circles.

Also can the standard gas gauges work with this or do we need to buy the low pressure gauges and hoses?
We recommend only using the low pressure gauges and hoses from Cobra to match this torch.
