Works Great!
This is the second snake I have purchased from Eastwood, still using the first one it is still working fine no problems, still have some painting to do so got the second as a standby.

Great Product
From all the humidity and extensive use of air tools I was getting moisture in my paint. I installed the dessicant snake and presto no more water.

I painted with those small red and Black Air filters. and still had water in my paint. Heart breaking I know. But when I bought the DeVilbiss Desiccant Snake No more water. thanks Eastwood.

Used this product in 60-70% humidity and the air came out as dry as the mojave desert! Works very well for hobbyist DYI paint work. Best budget dryer you can buy in my opinion.

saved the day
get one and use it i did not the frist time and had to resand the whole car and start over water and paint dont mix if you use a small home compressor it pays for its self i installed just before gun it made a great handle to guide spray pattern worked great and saved the day

Worked great for the roof...not after
I bought this a few weeks ago and it worked great for the roof and except for one spot I started noticing these chunks of stuff coming out of the spray gun now ive strained my paint and have a new compressor with the water completely drained and a very clean work environment and then the bad part happened second coat in it must have all came loose inside and blew it all through the spray gun into the paint its a mess I wouldn't reccomend this product. It might just be the one I got considering it's got great reviews but it ruined my paint job that I've been prepping for awhile.

At the base of the gun is the optimal spot to catch moisture and contaminants.

Would this last a full paint job. Epoxy primer, 2k; base and then clear ?
These desiccant snakes are certainly designed to last an entire paint job. Just keep in mind there are variables which could affect life span. One thing we recommend is to drain your air compressor of any moisture before hooking this up help out.

how do you know when it wears out and can you service it?
Its a disposable use.
The unit will clog up or see beads coming out of it.
