Safety Information

Always wear a NIOSH-approved respirator, eye protection and skin protection when painting. Consult paint labeling and MSDS for exact safety precautions. Always paint in a ventilated area away from open flames or sparks. Consult local and federal laws when disposing of excess paints, primer clears and solvents. Rated 5 out of 5 by from good value OK, I primed and sprayed my car with these guns. I like the primer gun allot, laid down the primer smooth and no hiccups. The color gun and tip I'm not in love with. The trigger kind of catches in a spot that's really annoying. I've kept the guns meticulously clean but there are no instructions on breakdown? I held my breath when taking off the 1.3mm nozzle to clean it up better. I kept questioning whether that part was meant to come off. The provided wrench would just strip the nut. I still don't know what should be taken off etc. I just pull the needle and spring, back cap and air nozzle up front.I also get a little leak by near the rear of the needle. I snugged that nut up slightly but too much and the needle will hang up. Must be a collet in there or something. The guns are easy to dial in a spray pattern etc. But now that I've done my first paint job I know why people will pony up more money for a color gun that will atomize the paint and clear a little better making for a smoother finish. The guns are well built and a nice turnkey option for someone that didn't know what the heck they were doing. Once I coupled it with the DeKups system, (well worth the $) it was a pretty pleasurable experience. Once I wetsand my paint job I think it's going to look very nice.

I remember he would look down at me when he was at his cleaning station with his guns ,and he would say devilbiss is the best but you got to keep them clean . He was an artist . I did not get my grandpa's spray guns they were taken , i purchased these and right out of the box i noticed i inherited my grandpas talent with these spray guns . But you got to keep them clean . Good guns good service. Miss you grandpa

In just a few minutes I was laying the paint on the 1974 beetle I'm restoring. Very happy with this product! Great value for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Like i expected from DeVillbiss I purchased the Starting Line gun kit in the hopes of shooting my own hotrod (First time) after shooting some small parts, and having used the garbage that harbor Freight sells, these guns are great! Easy to set feels good in hand. Just don't make the same mistake I did. when you get them REMEMBER to tighten (left hand thread) the cup fitting! otherwise they will work loose and drip all over your work. (they're not very tight from the factory)

I recently painted my friends fiberglass cowl hood and guys I was very pleased on how the primer gun & paint gun laid the paint! Couldn't do this with my old setup for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleased with the Purchase The kit arrived as promised. Opened to find exactly what was advertised. Used the gun to spray a door with epoxy primer after changing the tip assembly from 1.8 to 1.5. Removing the tip from the gun almost required a socket and a breaker because it was in so tight, did not think it needed to be that tight. Using an HVLP gun is very new to me as I had grown up using a pressure feed type sprayer. It took some time getting the spray pattern I wanted, but in the end I was pleased with the operation.

The case is handy too, I always break them all the way down to clean them after use anyway so storing them in the case is practical for me.

I also found the threads to be soft . So if your careful you'll get some life out of this gun . All in all its a great kit

Rated 4 out of 5 by from First time spraying epoxy, high build and base/clear Both guns layed down all 4 materials beautifully, esp considering I've never shared anything but a rattle can. The cups that come with the funds aren't great, lots don't seal well and are a paint to clean so I went with 3M PPS system instead no big deal. Have had a couple issues with the regulator, have to decouple it from the gun and flow air through it and hook it back up

Have spent over 2 months trying to get a cap for the paint cup that didn’t fit. Wish I would have purchased this item from someone else. Terrible customer service from Eastwood!

Purchased this kid a couple years ago to paint some car spoilers and the results were pretty good..so good in fact I painted my first complete car with great results..couldn't be more pleased!..both guns were easy to use and clean and their spray patterns were perfect with some adjustments. I gave this kit 4 stars only because plastic paint cups would've been nicer in my opinion to keep track of paint usage. All in all I'm not regretting my purchase!

Biggest complaint I would have is both guns came with minor nicks and scratches brand new out of the box. Doesn't affect the spray quality but definitely a turn off. Not sure if I'll buy from Eastwood in the future. Overall though, a great value for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Don't think you're getting a nice case. Just received these guns, was opening them like a Christmas present in front of a co-worker, enjoying the smells and pretty colors.... I saw the chrome carry handle sat the case up and attempted to lift it by the handle, it flew off Christmas present on the ground......The case is so thin it feels like a soda bottle. All of the parts seem to be there, the guns look good. I will update after cleaning the guns up and see how they spray.

The excuse that my address didn't match wasn't true it delayed my order from shipping on time and wasted the weekend I planned to use for painting setting my project back 3 weeks

I'm not a pro maybe spray a car once a year I had 1 air leak on the primer gun at the threads was able to fix it worked fine. I used Eastwood Urethane Paint and the high build primer and had excellent results. The questions I had about the products I purchased were answered in 24 hrs Thanks Eastwood

Rated 4 out of 5 by from OK guns If you buy these guns because it comes with a case, dont. you have to break down the gun completly so it fits back in, and after market cleaning brushes wont fit in it either. I use a craftsman cantelever box instead, and I can keep both guns fully assembled with room for all the extra goodys I need, tips, screens, brush's etc. The wrench they suplly doesnt work that well, you wil need extra wrenches. the big gun sprays awsome, the small gun sprays lean, but its prabably my fault. I'm no pro. I recomend buying a better quality single gun with 3 tips, and make your own carry case.

Since these guns require 13 CFM your compressor will not be able to keep up. Based on your compressor you would be best to look at our Concours paint guns. Most of these require 4 CFM.

Since this paint gun setup only requires 13 CFM you'll be good to go with some to spare. This'll ensure you're compressor isn't running all the time trying to catch up.

What size adapter is needed at the bottom of the guns, 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2". If it's a 1/4" adapter that should be used, should a 3/8" hose with 1/4" ends be used? I'll be running a 25' hose. Thank you,

Those guns have a 1/4" adaptor at the end of the gun. If you run a 3/8" hose with 1/4" ends that would work great with these guns.

This Paint gun kit Requires 13 cfm at 30psi. You did not stat what your compressors have at 30 psi. From what you're saying that you have, I highly doubt that your compressor would be adequate for this to supply this gun set to operate properly.

This product requires 13 CFM at 30PSI. Different compressors with different motors put out different CFM and PSI check the specs on the compressor to see if it is compatible.

What are the small filters for?

The small filter is to be dropped down into the port on the spray gun before attaching the cup. It should not be used when using any primers or metallic finish paints because it will clog.

Since we do not sell or have any knowledge of the Fuji systems it would be impossible for us to make a recommendation. Generally turbine systems require specific paint guns to function properly.

I have a craftsman 26gal compressor. 8.6 @ 40psi  or 6.4@90psi. Do you think I can use the gun?

I know the question/answers were 2 years ago but just for anyone else looking... S Church's answer is not correct. any 26 to 30 gal 1.5 to 2 hp compressor will supply 13 cfm at 30 psi, just not for long periods of time. the closer your compressor is to being able to supply 13 cfm at 30 psi and/or the bigger your tank is, the longer you can paint before needing to stop and let your compressor build back up. for the guy doing this as a hobby that is only gonna have small jobs prepped for paint at any time then this is not an issue

I purchased this kit a few months back and the gun with the blue accents developed a flutter when spraying. My brother used it and didnt spend enough time cleaning it but even after i disassembled and cleaned it the flutter is still there. Can u help

Thoroughly soak the gun to clean all the ports. Also ensure the nozzle is tightened all the way.
