Description
Drylok E1 is a revolutionary 1 part epoxy floor paint that utilizes advanced epoxy technology for excellent durability. E1 is resistant to hot tire marks and pickup, chemicals, oil, grease and gasoline stains. Unlike 2 part coatings, there is no mixing or the messy clean up. Applies easily to new and aged concrete. Cleans up with water and is storable. E1 is a semi gloss coating, available in ready to use colors: Gray. One gallon covers 300-400 square feet.

Can a clear urethane and color chips be applied over E1 Drylok?
We have never tested with any clear placed over top. This paint is supposed to be left by itself.

Can drylock be use on a floor that alreadt been sealed and has oil and gas stain on it already
For best adhesion you should strip the existing paint to remove contaminants.

How soon after can you put a second coat on?
You will need to wait 4 hours before the second coat.

How soon can this be applied to a new concrete floor?
"Newconcrete must cure for 30 days. Forbest results new concrete should be
washed and scrubbed thoroughly to remove any surface contaminants.Allow to dry completely. " per instructions.

I didn't put a moisture barrier down under the concrete floor. Will it stop the moisture from coming through the floor
Floors that are subjected to hydrostatic pressure (water seeping from underneath the
floor) or are continually damp cannot be satisfactorily painted with any paint or coating. This should be resolved prior to painting.

Can dryly 1 be used in welding areas?
It could be used in those areas with no real issues, but the durability of the coating will depend on what kind of heat it's exposed to. Welding blankets, splatter paper, and screens should always be used when welding to avoid damage to anything in the close vicinity to the project that is being welded.

Can drylok 1 be used on wood floor? This is for an out building.
Drylok is recommended for concrete floors only.
