QC3 air filter and dryerFor any small home shop this filter / dryer is a good addition to your air system. I've been using it to paint with and my results have been great. Hard to judge how clean the air actually is without some test equipment, but the air seems to be moisture free. The regulator is accurate and linear. Can't go wrong with this unless you want to invest more in your air system.

Do the dryers have the reusable beads?

You can pop off the metal retention washer on the top and empty the silica gel desiccant beads onto a pan, then bake at 250-300f for about 3 hours.
You can also put color changing beads in so you will know when they are wet and when they are dry in the oven. Then simply fill the cartridge back up and you are good to go!

Looking at my CFS system the stud that holds the filter seems to be about 2.5" to short to use with this filter, am i missing something or mounting it wrong?

I took notice that this filter #31882 has a flat washer to install it and it comes with the #31633 filter canister. I am looking at replacing it with the Devilbiss filter #130524, but it comes with a curved washer. Where do I get the curved washer?
