Rated 5 out of 5 by from 12" Disc Sander I bought about 3 weeks ago. The product arrived on time, actually a day early. Easy to assemble and level. Used the first day and was able to complete several projects using it. Would recommend to anyone in metal and/or wood working.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Machine I like the machine itsself, but I have issues with any brand of sanding disc sticking to it because of the texture on the disc. I've tried the ones sold directly from here, and 2 brands from Amazon (those were absolute trash) and one from my local hardware store. Is there a brand that will actually stick to the disc long enough to finish a project? I cleaned the disc before the first use and used air to blow off any residue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great sander, but... I like this sander. It has a smooth, powerful motor and it should last for years. However, I'm disappointed with the table and it's related hardware. The table itself seems very cheap and thin, and the miter fence is rubbish. I found myself having to re-square the table to the 90° position often, and after trying to snug it down so it wouldn't move I stripped out the guts of the plastic locking lever. After replacing the lock down levers with 1/2" long bolts and switched to a quality miter fence, the sander is now a great tool in the shop.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small problem on assembly Very nice disk sander, glad I purchased it. Small problem with the screws that hold the disk brake in place. Upon assembly they weren't long enough and stripped out thus not holding the brake on. I tapped the holes to standard and put longer screws in their place otherwise I am satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect! I bought this for woodworking. I used to swap out a 10" sanding disc on my old table saw. My new flesh sensing saw does not easily allow for this kind of application. I shopped the woodworker's websites and was underwhelmed. Most of the units were weak on features and underpowered (1/2 hp). Top five reasons for buying this sander: 5. Stable rubber feet. 4. Hand brake. 3. Generous table size 2. Table tilts up and down. 1. 1.25 hp motor!!! I might give it a five star rating later, but I've only done a few test runs and I'll have to see how it holds up on a real project. I did have to fiddle around a little to square up the table, but it was not difficult with the adjusting screws. Eastwood should market this to the woodworkers. I've already talked to a friend who wants to get one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I give it the lowest possible rating I just unboxed this and set it up only to turn it on an the bearing is squealing and the 12” plate does not run true. I put a feeler gauge on it and the plate has .156” run out. Getting any sort of flat even grind with this machine will be impossible. I would expect this from a harbor freight machine but paid more to get a higher quality machine from Eastwood. Now I know I paid more for the same low quality machine.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wobbly Disc I bought this sander on 8-23-2020. I had not had the chance to use it until this week. The disc wobbles about 1/16" If you plan to use it for fine work like sanding segments for segmented turning or anything fine, this is not the sander for you. I wouldnt buy it again.
