A perfect choiceI have been restoring cars for over 50 years. As you get older some things gre harder to do. I needed to grind a weld on an inside curved surface and could not reach it eith the grinders i have. this was the perfect choice small enough to fit and uses abrasive discs I all ready have. A prefect choice.

Great toolLight weight, easy to maneuver around in tight places. Great tool. Thank you
For 2" Surface Prep Tool, it works cleaning up the mating surface of front brake rotors. But for rear discs with drum-style emergency brake, the depth is too great for this tool. Is there an extension or other way to extend the depth this can work at?
Asked by: TerryZak
I use 3 inch roloc discs with mine. They last longer and have more reach than the 2 inch discs.

Do the sanding discs connect with a hook and loop feature?
Asked by: Donald
I haven't seen an option for it. It does have a twist on pad. This feature, in my option, works very well. It's easy to switch out pads, without needing a tool to do so.

What is the advantage of this tool for the roloc-type discs, compared to your 90 degree die grinder? The free speeds are very close (18,000 rpm versus 20,000 rpm). The die grinder look like it will get into tighter spots since it is not as tall.
Asked by: Paul
Using these tools for the same application, they would be very similar. Where the Die grinder is different, you can us carbide burrs on the tool for grinding areas, so this tool would be a little more versatile.
