Innovative Two Component Technology in a Can - Plus UNLIMITED pot life!
Use our innovative 2K DuraSpray™ Top Coats to improve appearance and protect parts and components without the need for an expensive air compressor or HVLP paint gun. It’s also perfect for small jobs when you don’t want to mix paint or spend time cleaning a gun. No mixing means the perfect ratio every time without the messy cleanup. You'll achieve professional results from an easy-to-spray aerosol.
This standard aerosol can contains the paint and activator, but the activation doesn’t occur until they are sprayed out of the can and hit the air and become a highly durable two component coating, just like you would typically mix and spray out of a paint gun.
Eastwood 2K DuraSpray Top Coat Features:
You’ve loved our awesome 2k AeroSpray for years. Now is the time to step up to the most modern technology with Eastwood DuraSpray that offers more coverage and unlimited pot life!
Improvements Over 2K AeroSpray
For suspension, frame and chassis paint jobs, 2K DuraSpray™ Topcoat Spray Paint Black will Do the Job Right and do it fast. This black satin spray paint uses the latest technology to produce results rivaling an HVLP paint gun using a simple spray can. Low-gloss black epoxy paint and a hardener are both packed in a single can. The two components mix and activate as you spray at the perfect ratio for a durable, professional-looking finish. No HVLP gun, air compressor, shakers, filters or any other tools are needed. This chassis black spray paint will even stick to bare metal and most plastics without a primer.
Use Eastwood DuraSpray Deep Noire Satin Black Spray to coat your springs, shocks, wheel wells and undercarriages fast. Each can provides 27 square feet of coverage for restoration, repair and touch-up jobs. Our patent-pending paint has an unlimited pot life with extreme corrosion resistance tested for more than 1,000 hours of salt spray. We’ve been helping every automotive painter Do the Job Right since 1978.
IMPORTANT TIP: When finished spraying, always turn the can upside down and spray for a few seconds until no pigment is noted in the spray. This will clear out the valve and nozzle and prevent the coating from hardening. Failure to perform this action will cause the paint to harden in the valve/nozzle and will make the can unusable.
For best durability and chemical resistance this paint must be topcoated with Eastwood DuraSpray Clearcoat.
Drying and curing times may be affected by temperature and humidity and will take longer to fully cure in cool, dry environments. Multiple lighter, thin coats will provide the best results. Apply thin coats until fully covered.
