This standard aerosol can contains the paint and activator, but the activation doesn’t occur until they are sprayed out of the can and hit the air and become a highly durable two component coating, just like you would typically mix and spray out of a paint gun.

With Eastwood 2K DuraSpray™ Epoxy Spray Paint Blue, you can give automotive parts long-lasting protection without an HVLP paint gun or compressor — or even primer. It packs patent-pending two-component paint technology into an aerosol can with a chemical-resistant epoxy paint formula and catalyst. The two components automatically mix and activate for a great-looking finish with the right ratio. The intense gentian alpine blue spray paint color is based on the star-like wildflower and has been used as an OEM color by Mitsubishi, Porsche and performance car manufacturers.
Use our 2K Automotive Topcoat Spray Paint for any project where you want professional results. The 27 square feet of coverage per can is great for small projects, and you can use multiple cans for a full paint job when you don’t have the space or budget for an HVLP setup. IMPORTANT TIP: When finished spraying, always turn the can upside down and spray for a few seconds until no pigment is noted in the spray. This will clear out the valve and nozzle and prevent the coating from hardening. Failure to perform this action will cause the paint to harden in the valve/nozzle and will make the can unusable.
For best durability and chemical resistance this paint must be topcoated with Eastwood DuraSpray Clearcoat.
Drying and curing times may be affected by temperature and humidity and will take longer to fully cure in cool, dry environments. Multiple lighter, thin coats will provide the best results. Apply thin coats until fully covered.
