The Eastwood 3 in 1 30" Sheet Metal Shear Brake and Slip Roll Features:

Compact design meant to save space and time when working with sheet metal. 6 removable fingers enable you to create boxes and pans up to 30" wide. Adjustable stops for both the shear and brake that enable repeatable actions without measuring each time. Spring loaded hold down enables one handed operation of the shear. This machine was designed for one persons ease of use. Create complex shapes such channels, ribs,patch panels, cones, cylinders and much more in sheet metal, wire and tubing, all with one convenient bench mount tool.

Is the bend radius adjustable?
"A word about Bend Radius: Every gauge and type of sheet metal has a minimum Bend Radius. If an attempt is made to bend that metal sharper than the
allowable Bend Radius, it will fatigue and crack. It is best to consult an online table or a Machinery’s Handbook for the proper Bend Radius however a good
“rule-of-thumb” to employ is never set the distance of the Knife-edge of the Fingers any less than 1-1/2 X the thickness of the metal being bent."

Considering that sheet metal for an automobile body is typically 18 gauge why was this designed for only 20 gauge? Is there a 3 in 1 that will handle 18 gauge mild steel or plan for Eastwood to have one manufactured?
All of our 3 in 1 units are only able to bend 20 gauge.

What size are the holes that bolt this to a table?
The mounting hole specifications for the Eastwood 30" 3 in 1 Sheet Metal Shear, Brake and Slip Roll (21304) are, 31-1/8" center to center length and 13.5 in center to center width. The recommended size bolt & nut to mount this unit would be a 3/8" in or 9mm.

Very interested in this machine. How deep of a box or pan can you make
The Eastwood 30" 3 in 1 Sheet Metal Shear Brake and Slip Roll (21304) will bend up to a 2.5" deep box.

Can this bend the sheet metal at less than 90 degree angles?
Yes this can create bends up to 90 degrees and less.

It appears the same machine is available under 4 other names. In the past I have spent extra $ for quality only to find it the same as the one at the local discount tool company. Any input on why or if the Eastwood 3 in 1 machine is worth the extra $?
Although we can not compare to a brand we do not sell this unit was designed in house here in PA but is manufactured overseas for us. This unit will come with a 90 day return period if you are unsatisfied with this item and a 1 year warranty again manufacturer defects.

What is the thickest ga stainless you would attempt to roll? Also what is the thickest ga stainless you would attempt to use on the metal brake?

Can this cut .12 of an inch chromoly steel?
This will not be able to cut Chromoly that is that thick.

Will this cut/ bend/ roll 1/8" aluminum, if so how wide?
The maximum capabilities of this tool are, 20 gauge mild steel 24 gauge stainless and 18 gauge aluminum. 1/8" is to thick of material.

This will not bend past 90 degrees.

Hi I purchased one of these machines from Eastwood some Year's ago and I received the equipment with only one handle, now I am see ing that you all have two hàndles on the new version. Can I purchase another handle? Also the bushings for the rollers?
At this time these are sold as complete units and we do not have any spare parts. We have never had any parts wear out.
