Great product for a Great Price.I very seldom write a review. However I am to impressed with this rotisserie not to take the time to write a review. I restore WWII Jeep and Dodge soft skin trucks.
I am currently doing a Dodge WC56 ( command car). The floor was gone and the same with the hat channel holding in the floor. So I needed a rotisserie. When I researched the market I just couldn't get my head around the costs of rotisserie's for the restoration. I live in Sierra Nevada in CA. So I looked for used rotisseries. There were none available so I had to get a new one. I have bought a lot of specialty tools for body work from Eastwood. So I saw on line the 3000 pound rotisserie. So I called Reno store and they had one and I was able to go to the store with a trailer, they loaded in on and off I went. When I got home as I assembled the rotisserie I was impressed with the weight of the unit and the fact that this rotisserie for the cost had heavy duty hydraulic lifts to help in getting the tub adjusted for center of gravity. I made out of rectangular metal stock mounting brackets that I bolted up to the arms of the rotisserie.
I can spin the tub with ease.
The coasters are smooth operating as well.
Another excellent product from Eastwood.

Would buy again, great value!Very good value for the price, one thing that could be improved is the handles , the plastic hand grips do not stay on and they drop out during rotation, everything else is good , easy to understand instructions, good packaging and quick shipping!

Good build quality overallThe Eastwood rotisserie is built solid. I’m using it for a frame off on a 65 chevelle. The only problem I have is the brackets that come with the rotisserie will not slide out far enough to mount to the front mounting holes on the body. I will have to add 2” to the square tubing on both ends to use the supplied mounting arms or ditch the mounting arms and fab some new
ones. I expected to have to tweak the brackets a little bit to make them work and would buy this rotisserie again. The brackets did mount up to the rear body mounts.

Has a couple design issues but worksJust got this and still getting set up. Overall things aren’t too bad for the money. Issues I have are: the welded nuts at the vehicle mounting point. My body has cage nuts so I drilled out the metric nuts welded in so I could just go through. The handles fall out while rotating because the rubber grips aren’t tight enough. Maybe should be pinned. Lastly the t- bar is 56” long. When I spread the mounting arms out enough to bolt to a Chevelle front mounts, a Chevelle! The mounting armed extend beyond the t bar. Only one of the lock bolts catch the bar. I don’t trust that from slipping down I have to modify the t bar to fit one of the most commonly restored vehicle.

WorksFew annoying issues. First the handles for turning fall out as the rubber handels aren't tight enough. Requires some modification. This causes second issue, the rotary head with bearings is doesn't hold the inner part in with out the handle holding the spacer in causing the lock pin to be to far away to engage. Pretty crappy that out of the box you need to modify this.
I drilled and used a bolt to hold outer collar on. Drilled hole in center of handles and bought few extra quick release clips to hold handle in with out gluing rubber handles on so the handles can be removed.
Design needs updated. Also remove the welded nuts on the holders. Put nuts and bolts in bag instead.
Be nice if the casters where the same from the body cart.

OK but disappointedWell built overall but various assembly and operational problems. First the threaded lift rods are 1/2" too short and are machined ~1-1/8" incorrectly. See photo. Shoulder on rod should mate with support bracket. Luckily I have a lathe. I machine 2X 3/4" spacers which bias the rods to nearly the correct location. Operational but allows extra wobble in the crank handle which makes adjustment harder. Secondly, there were multiple welded-on nuts that have damaged threads. I did not have the required large metric tap but a slight tapering of the lead threads on one bolt with a grinder provides a makeshift tap. Thirdly, there is so much axial slop in the "bearing assembly" that the rear bearing walks out of the outer tube. I have not determined a fix for this last issue yet.

Worthless rotisserieIt would be beneficial to let buyers know that no one makes the attaching clamps to fit this rotisserie. It Doesn't state anywhere that as a buyer you have to manufacture all the bracket to attach this to the most common cars. Pretty useless rotisserie considering every other manufacturer does. And most will swap to other brand rotisseries unlike this one. Pathetic.
