Very well built.I needed a big parts washer so I pulled the trigger on this guy. It's very well made and easy to put together. It shipped in damage and everything was there nothing missing. I can't wait to get it running. I'm waiting on the fluid to put in it to arrive which I got elsewhere because of price and shipping charges. It's looks great paint is good it should be a good investment. The legs don't really line up with the holes no matter what you do, there close but just off enough to not go in so I used a step bit to ream them a little to get the screws in. Not a big deal

No complaints, Works very well.This being my first cabinet and first time using one, I can say as a new home DIYer it works really well, The only thing I would change/mod is a shutoff valve for the media so you can just blow air through the gun to clear out all the media from all the cracks after you are done, I started out just kinking the hose which works but of course will eventually cause wear on the hose, I also just fed a second airline in the intake vent with a blow gun and that works as well, after adding the valve it makes keeping the media in its place when done nice and easy.

Do the job right...Opened up an auto repair shop in September and had to buy some tools. This was one of them and it works perfectly. The only downside is I wish there was a heater element for the fluid. Otherwise, fantastic.

Will oil based solvents hurt the pump

Yes, oil-based solvents can damage the pump in the Eastwood 40 Gallon Parts Washer. This washer is specifically designed to be used with water-based solvents only. Using oil-based or chemical-based solvents, such as Stoddard solvent, is not recommended as they are flammable and can harm the pump

The spring in the 'fuseable link' has rusted due to the use of water based solvents and no longer supports the weight of the lid. Is there a replacement part available, and a protective procedure to ensure the same doesn't happen again?

Why do you need to use 24 gal minimum to operate? To keep the pump safe?

less than 24 gallons can expose the pump and draw in air disrupting the flow.
