Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting

This premium 2-component topcoat system is blended with top-quality raw materials and advanced composition coatings technology. Superior to acrylic, alkyd and lacquer coatings. Eastwood's single-stage urethane paints hold their gloss longer and won't yellow.

"Hugger Orange"This color " Hugger orange" is more of a University of Texas "Burnt orange". Was very disappointing at first. The color is growing on me and it did lay down nicely.

UghThe paint is fine. Have a small car (70’s Porsche) so thought a gallon was fine. Did interior, door jams in/out, but it’s a small car… right? Nope. Needed 1.5 gal. Not a big deal except the suppliers didn’t mix up another batch for 5 months?!? I know the supply chain was bad but the communication was really bad as well. Bad form. Glad I finally got it.
Will I need to use reducer in addition to the activator for this paint? If so, how much reducer will I need per gallon?
Asked by: Xp72
Reducer is not required. However, if desired, you can add up to 10% reducer to improve flow and leveling. Eastwood recommends using high-quality urethane grade reducer.

Can this product be wet sanded and compounded to a high luster ? Wanting to remove any orange peel or dust if needed.
Asked by: Bob7612
Yes, the Eastwood '69-'72 GM Hugger Orange/Carousel Red 3:1 Single Stage Automotive Car Paint can be wet sanded and compounded to achieve a high luster. This process is effective for removing imperfections such as orange peel or dust particles. Wet sanding should be done carefully, followed by compounding to restore the gloss and achieve a smooth, high-quality finish .

We recommend anywhere from a 1.2—1.4 mm sized nozzle set. We recommend pressure at a regulator attached to the bottom of the paint gun to be set between 25-30PSI.
