Customer Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool Takes a little to put together but this thing is solid, looks very well made . The only thing I will change on it is where the air comes in should be at the side but besides that great product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eastwood B60 Blasting Cabinet Considering I put it together myself, it was fairly easy to assemble. Can’t wait to connect it to my compressor and try it out. Well made and very sturdy.

Questions & Answers

Do you have to assemble this from scratch or is it semi pre assembled?

Asked by: steve
There is some assembly required upon arrival but not the complete unit.

Unit says it requires 7cfm@90psi but the only compressor I have available is 6.2cfm@90psi. Other than running less efficiently, are there any safety hazards running this cabinet at a reduced volume?

Asked by: JamesH826
7cfm@90psi is the minimum requirement for this compressor. To run this successfully and with best results it takes more around 10cfm@90psi. This blast cabinet should not be used with the compressor specs you are listing.

Why are walnut shells not recommended?

Asked by: Eddy
They are too coarse of a grit- it will clog the unit up.

The spring clamp type device that holds my lid closed on my B60 fall apart quite frequently and are a pain to put back together. Do you have a better replacement option for these parts?

Asked by: Mustang_guy
The only option we have as far as replacements would be what this unit arrives with upon purchase, at this time.

If the unit is 24" deep, why does it say you can do 20" wheels. Would you not be able to do a 23" wheel?

Asked by: Lous
If you lay the 23" wheel flat it might just barely fit in the cabinet with very little room to spare which is why we recommend up to 20". You would not be able to stand the wheel up as the front taper for the viewing glass would prevent that. Remember it is also about the rim width. Many 22" and 23" wheels are very wide 10" to 15" and that will also make it difficult to fit it in the cabinet. Motor cycle wheels would fit better.
