In using either the single stage or the bc/cc type of paint lines , would I need to or be advised to purchase any additional products (bonding or flex agent) to paint the urethane bumpers that are found commonly on the early 70s firebirds ?
Asked by: Kris K
Thank you for your question.
There are many different opinions about Endura type bumpers and whether or not you need flex additives. With that being said, We would recommend asking a body shop/painter that has a lot of experience working with these types of bumpers.
If you ask 10 different painters, I would bet 5 of them will say to use a flex additive and 5 will say to not use it. Flex additives will harden over time just like the primer, paint and clear will. It is really for when you are working with the bumper and installing it back on the vehicle.
A flex additive is okay add or not to add as long as you are using high quality primers, paints and clear coats like our Eastwood brands and others. Just remember, paint and clear will still crack if flexed too much.

Do you have quart size. I need for touch up after sanding. Lot of texture and a glob of solids in bottom of can. Is this typical?

Does Eastwood have a powder coat that will match this color? I am wanting to powder coat some parts to match this paint.
Asked by: Ronnie
Unfortunately, we do not offer paint colors to match our powders. These come from different manufacturers and we have no way to cross reference. We apologize for the inconvenience.
