Description

Eastwood Chop Top Silver Metallic - A classic metallic made with fine aluminum particles for a subtle silver poly appearance.

Eastwood's premium Single-Stage Acrylic Urethane Topcoat provides exceptional long-lasting beauty and durability.

  • Catalyzed urethane for unsurpassed durability
  • Highly resistant to UV rays, chemicals, chips
  • Makes 1 sprayable gallon when mixed 3:1 with a required activator
  • Approximate coverage: 125 SQ FT
  • Flake/Pearl Particle size: 10-25 microns
  • Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting
  • Made in the USA

This premium 2-component topcoat system is blended with top-quality raw materials and advanced composition coatings technology. Superior to acrylic, alkyd and lacquer coatings. Eastwood's single-stage urethane paints hold their gloss longer and won't yellow.

  • Pro Tip: When spraying Single Stage Metallic and Pearl Paints, you can improve appearance by using the special additive Metalli-Flow Metallic Paint Enhancer to help lock and stabilize metallic and pearl particles for a perfect finish.

Fluid flow out of my HVLP gun must be adjusted depending on the angle of the surface: more flow for interior ceiling, less flow for horizontal surfaces, and way less flow and thin, thin coats for vertical surfaces. It really looks great though.

    Will I be able to paint aluminum with this product?

    As long as there are proper primers used there should be no issues using the Chop Top Silver on aluminum.
