COB (Chip on board) is a new style of LED light in which the LED chip is mounted directly to the circuit board. This new design results in fewer components used in manufacturing which in turn makes a more reliable, longer lasting light. Another great feature of COB LED design is the reduced glare compared to older LED lighting technology. A really nice flexible lightI've only used it a few times but the strong magnet and flexibility made it even more useful. The extra light for welding really makes a difference. It takes a while to charge but overall well with it. It takes a lot of the shadows out that's seems to happen with a bigger light.

Slim Work LightWorks as advertised. Just got them so we will see how they do in a harsh environment. They put out a good amount of light for as small as they are, 3 different setting lets you direct the amount of light you need, magnet holds well and lets you work hands free to see what your working on!

My Favorite LightI bought this about a year ago, and it has been fantastic! They have a real winner with this light!
The magnet is strong enough to hold the light upside down underneath a car, but not so strong that it is difficult to move it around.
The light shines up, not in my eyes, when working underneath. It's great for brakes, too, as it will stick on a suspension component, and have the light shine down on the work area.
For times with the side light is too bright, or I need to light up something buried underneath other parts, the end light is perfect.
I like it so much, I just bought a second one.

Bright light and convenientI've had this light about a month now and have used it often. I bought it because of its brightness and ability to attach magnetically. I used it under a truck dash I was wiring. It was very easy to reposition and convenient for use.

Love itThis light really works. It is very bright, and very tough. I have dropped it many times from 5 feet, including dropping it into a pan of coolant, and it still works. The charge lasts for hours too. The only problem I have had is the magnet on the bottom is breaking apart from the repeated drops.

COB Rechargeable work lightI bought four of these just before Christmas. I gave three of them as christmas gifts to my co workers. They work great. Everyone seems to like them except the one I kept for myself. It stopped charging after only being used just three times (about 1/2 hour). It shuts of as soon as I turn it on after charging. Must be defective battery because it will function while plugged into charger. I must say I am disappointed. It was great while it worked. I guess I just got the one that had to fail.

Great flash light love it!Was given one as gift love it . Very bright compact have used for working on car under dash very bright and base holds solid . Adjustable angle life saver also doesn't get hot so don't have to worry about burns from old style light. I actually purchased one prior and have been a fan . My first one came from harbor freight identical units even down to battery and casting marks.

fragileThe light itself is great, BUT they are very fragile. They are metal except the hinge which is plastic. Not good for heavy use. Battery will outlast the body of the light itself. The hinge will break the first time you drop it. If they improved the hinge the light would be great. Great light to stick on the fridge for emergency but wouldn't recomend for a heavy work enviroment

Bad qualityBought this about a month ago, would not charge. Directions says to replace battery if that happened. Replaced with new recharged one, still won’t work. Not up to Eastwood usual standards

A bright work light but...I am a hobbyist getting older and need more light now and again. I have used Eastwood products over the years and found their products to be generally serviceable. So when I needed a little extra light I bought this LED light and found the brightness to be great but the tool to be far to fragile for my one job at a time environment & certainly not adequate for a more harsh shop. The magnet is weak and as a result it slip off the fender and hit the floor snapping the light head fastenings. I tried to use shrink tube to reenforce the flex joint but found that the plastic that is used in the joint melts at very low heat. Now the light is headed for the trash. A couple of calls to Eastwood & nobody really seems to care. This tool is no where near their old standard and should be removed from sale. Don't buy it if you value your $45.
