Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't Use Solvent on it The regulator works as described however the dial lens became completely ruined as soon as acetone touched it when cleaning it, so now cannot read the dial. It must have a plastic dial lens, spend the extra money for a better one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Fail Bought last fall, just took it out of the box this week to try it but the gauge doesn't function at all. Stays at 0 reading regardless of what pressure it's letting through. I know it's adjusting the air because I can feel the difference in flow when I adjust it but the needle never moves. Thankfully my compressor has an adjustable regulator but it's just not as accurate.

I need a regulator for a powder paint air brush gun, its used to spray jig heads and other lure parts. its recommended very low pressure around the 1/2-1 mark. to much pressure blows the powder off the part. would this be a good fit for me?

Is the regulator neccessary to use with your pancake compressor, or will the compressor maintain the right pressure for the powder gun?

Asked by: Kelly
Using an air regulator right at the gun handle ensures the correct pressure going into the powder coating gun at all times. This will also keep the air pressure regulated for going to high, and with powder coating, correct air pressure is very important.

Are the hole openings where the gun and hose attach large? A lot of regulators around this price have a very small opening, which I feel hurts CFM to the spray gun, an HVLP needs volume.

Asked by: irwin
The diameter of the hole on the input is .194" and the output hole diameter is .23".
