Questions & Answers
Just to be clear, I take it this is basically just polyester filler ("bondo") formulated to the consistency of lacquer glazing putty?
I just watched 2 different videos on a method of removing clear coat runs on fresh paint job. Both used a 2 part polyester putty/filler to surround the run. starting with 320 grit thru 2000 until all the filler is gone.Could this be used for that?
I have a lot of chrome trim that have corrosion that left low spots and pin holes in metal. Can this filler be used ? Also can I paint over filler with self etching primer , chrome primer and chrome paint.
Can this glazing puddy be used over the polyester fill primer?
Can this be used on inner fender wells inside the engine compartment? I have some pitting and dings on the inner fender well and need to smooth them out.
Will this work on Aluminum? I have small holes on my trim around my garage door and would to find something to patch and repaint instead of getting a contractor with an aluminum brake and replacing all of it.
Is this filler compatible with the 2K ceramic spray paints? Can I fill holes when the part has been already painted with the 2K sprays and use sand paper for a second coating ?
Please, tell me what is the difference other than the volume 24oz and 5oz between the two items "EW Contour Glazing Putty" and "Contour Finishing Putty"? Thanks!
