Description

Eastwood Contour Premium Lightweight Body Filler is a polyester-based formula that will spread easy, dry fast and sand to a ultra-smooth finish. Its lightweight formula will also reduce clogging of sandpaper and will be virtually pinhole-free. This body filler is upgraded to premium due to its super-creamy texture which will allow you to apply it with professional quality results. The super-creamy texture also allows this body filler to be used for small spot repairs, but this filler will excel at being spread over larger areas compared to a standard lightweight body filler. Uses include bodywork repairs for dents, dings scratches, rust and small holes. Hardener Type Included: PBO Cream (Benzol Peroxide).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and sand My first time using this product and so far I am pleased. Seems to be an improvement on the can, just seems to open and seal better. This product mixes with the hardner very well because it is a yellow color and turns a light brown when you mix the blue hardner. This stuff sets up and is easy to sand. I have previously used aluminum filled putty which is hard to mix and hard to sand.

After sanding the Premium body filler, can I wipe down the areas where I have exposed metal to prevent surface rust with fast etch? Will Fast Etch harm the premium body filler?

We do not recommend letting fast etch touch body filler. Fast Etch will damage that finish.

Was in the process of blocking this filler off my truck with bare panels and got caught in the rain, will water affect this if it's already hardened?

If fully cured, water will not affect this product, just make sure it is fully dry before applying any further coats.

after removing the vinyl top found there was a previous repair to a couple of rust spots ( quarter size), they had just put filler over the holes. is contour the best choice for the roof, after patching the holes. will be putting a vinyl top back on
