Strong and easy to sandIt is very easy to mix, spread and sand (80 grits). It is also very strong. I also tested directly on a fiberglass mat and got a very good solid result.

Good but fades fastI've used this product on a few cars now and I have a love/hate relationship but will buy again unless I find better. It works great, mixes well, goes on good, shapes very easy, and the sanding of it is spot on. It does have a tendency to clog sandpaper when you initially start sanding, regardless the cure time. My reason for the hate part is that the unused portion doesn't last long at all. It comes in a large container and starts to clump and get small clump particles all through it after about 3-4 weeks from the initially opening. Then it becomes a pain to work with, really hard to get a uniform layer with lines due to dragging clumps, and eventually frustrates you to the point of just tossing it.
My advice: Eastwood needs to sell this in smaller quantities too. I have a hard time justifying $50 on a product that I'm going to toss probably half or more. I do one car at a time and don't come close to using it all before it starts to clump and become unusable. Quart size would seem perfect for the average user.
Can this be used on a metal truck frame that has an epoxy primer on it?

A primer needs to be applied after applying this filler to seal everything off before proceeding to applying your paint. This filler is not available in any other form.

Will this be good to apply over rusted area under weather stripping of front glass? It is pretty rusted just wondering if there is a way around cutting and patching. If I can apply a very tough body filler and shape it ...?

We recommend cleaning the rust with wire brush or wheels, then use Eastwood Rust Encapsolator (16060Z) to neutralize the rust. You can then either use USC All Metall Filler(50751ZP) to level and support the area or use Eastwood's No Weld Panel Bond Adhesive(31087) to Bond on patch panel material to provide a secure smooth surface.

Would I use this instead of bondo if the filler sections on metal are more than a 1/4" deep?

You would want to avoid filling depth greater than 1/4 inch with this filler, as well. It is always best to hammer/dolly or pull the damage out to reduce the amount of filler needed to less than 1/4".
