SCT 320 Grit DrumThese 320 grit SCT drums is what I need to prepare the surface of the old paint to accept the roll-on Eastwood Epoxy sealer to be followed by the Eastwood roll-on Primer to allow me to get ready for Block Sanding.

Wears grooves into finishing DrumI ought this to polish some brass parts. The parts contained some sharp edged areas and these wore grooves into the drums very quickly. Great on flat areas UT on contours too expensive to use on areas where it will cause grooves in the drum. I still had to do quite a few areas by hand sanding.
thinking of buying one, are the abrasives universal, i.e- can I buy the abrasives through msc or McMaster?

My 320 grit drum arrived today and has directional stickers on both sides of the drum. However the arrows point in opposite directions, unlike my other drums which point in the same directions. Can the 320 grit drum be used both directions?

Is there a chance that "dips" will occur in body panels requiring bondo or a heavy application of primer surfacer to smooth the panels?

As long as you keep moving and don't sit in one spot you won't have to worry about creating dips in the panel.

Is the 9 amp motor big enough? Also where is this product made?

Our 9 amp SCT motor is plenty big enough to drive each of the wheels. The wheels are manufactured in China.
