Already my favorite tool
Already my favorite tool bought this in 2023 since then have used it many times recently just use it to finish restoring and prime and painting the frame and firewall of a 2003 Chevy 1500 and I’m working on. I don’t know what I do without it got the frame stripped down and cleaned and painted primed and clear coated, including the firewall and half a day.

Well worth the money.
If you want to get down to bare metal this is the tool to use. I went through 4 layers of paint and bondo in very little time.

Great Tool
I decided to go with this tool for the restoration on my father's 72 Cutlass. If you are on a tight budget and willing to put in some sweat equity, this is a great tool. I have been through (2)-40 grit stripping drums, (1) narrow 40 grit stripping drum, (1) descaling drum and (1) narrow descaling drum thus far. I am also utilizing the finishing drum for polishing prior to taking to the body guy for final prep for paint. The descaling drums worked great for stripping the frame and getting it ready to coat. I would definitely recommend this product.

Cleaning up barn siding which wheel works best

The SCT starts and runs well for ~10 seconds then slows down and runs at a low RPM. This happens no matter where the speed select switch is set I checked the brushes and they look OK. What else could be the problem?
The SCT's are usually sent out with an extra set of brushes. The first step would be replacing those brushes to see if the condition corrects. If not, that tool has a great warranty that Eastwood will fully back if it needs replacing and you are within the 3 years.
