Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Ramps These ramps are great for low profile vehicles. Also, they do not slide even on smooth garage floor. I also like the detachable feature which provides ample room to work from the side of the vehicle or to add jack stands for extra precaution while car is up on the ramps. They are also half the price of other similar ramps. Shipping was fast. They are less expensive if you buy directly from Eastwood instead of Amazon.

I had a regular set like you can get at auto center (rhino) and made some treated wood ramps to go in front of them to reduce angle of approach. But they became dangerous to use. But these new ones are just perfect.

No creaks or scary noises. Was under the car and done with my maintenance easily. These were wider than I expected, which is a good thing! It'll fit my OEM and aftermarket set-up easily.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The price is right, the product is 100% functional I bought these for 3 main reason. 1) I'm lazy and i hate digging my floor jack and jackstands out and taking the time to put both wheels in the air 2) i wanted the gradual slope to prevent them from sliding forward when driving on, or the ramps kicking out when driving off. 3) i did not want to pay the price people pay for the commonly advertised premium 2 piece ramps that are nearly 4 times the price (the race ones). I have no complaints. These things are great and the value is there. I had zero trouble using these on my first two test vehicles. One was a small SUV with a curb weight of roughly 3500 lbs. The other is a large vintage european sedan with a curb weight of roughly 4800 lbs. no slipping, no sliding, no issues at all. The removable section is awesome for allowing space to get under the vehicle from the sides. The storage space they take up is more than i'd like, but it's just the nature of these beasts. If you use ramps, these are a solid choice. i have no regrets. Someone asked in the questions section about what the bottoms look like. I'll attach the picture here, because i couldn't figure out how to do it there.

I decide to purchase a set of theses ramps hoping they would work. They worked perfect and I like the fact that they have the detachable ramp. They are very sturdy and there was now slippage when driving the car up the ramp. These are perfect for changing my oil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great ramps I got these Ramps the beginning of August for my low vehicle to do oil changes with. They worked great! Only issue was one was cracked a bit upon delivery. I reached out 3 times for a replacement finally 3 weeks later I got the replacement I was asking for. Eastwood eventually did right by me and the ramps work great for low vehicles too! Only reason for 4 stars is it took 2 emails and a phone call and 3 weeks to get a replacement. Otherwise thank you Eastwood

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Should have taken more time to decide I’ll file this under buyers remorse - impulse buy. I was wrong for not reading the dimensions of these ramps. I was purely sold on the price, and that they’re a two piece construction, which was a really cool feature. However, these things are kinda huge, depending on your needs may be perfect, but I wasn’t ready for the size. Plus, unlike cheaper less useful ramps that stack and store inside themselves, these do not do that. You have both full size ramps to store, no negotiations. Two piece - cool. Price - awesome. Storage - non existent. Also using them, the pieces just slide together, but there’s no detent or locking to keep them that way, either when setting them up or storing them. So the two pieces are always moving independently of each other, and won’t stay together if you stand them on end. Kind of annoying to be honest. Could’ve been a lot better, I could add devices to them to make them better, maybe eventually. Right now they’re just in the way, next to my other ramps taking up less than half the space.

Can these ramps support a 3k lb vehicle while doing fluid changes without using a jack?

Yes. These detachable car ramps (23048) can support up to 1.8 tons each or 3.6 tons as a pair. When used as a pair these ramps will support a maximum 7,200 lbs vehicle safetly. No jack is necessary as these are drive on ramps.
