Diamond ClearWhile I prefer catalyzed clear coat, I've used this to "lower" the sheen of other paints from shiny to satin. I like to use it as a topcoat over spray gray, brake gray, etc. Helps extend the time between recoats and protects the base color. Recommended.

Works great and I'm back for moreI bought this Clear Gross a couple other times. The first time was back in 2010 when I modified my Roush Mustang Supercharger to a chrome look. I sprayed the intake manifold with Diamond clear and so far no sign of aluminum decay in 11 years. Same goes for my finned aluminum differential cover. Car has 24K show miles on it.
Just painted my new brass irrigation back flow to see how it holds up. looks like gold.

Looks superI have used this product before in an automotive application but this time we used it to put a nice finish on my wife's decorative windmill. Great looking job.
I just repainted my inner fenders using Eastwood chassis paint. I would like to make them 'easy to clean' and add some 'longevity and durability'. Would this be my best choice?

Would the Diamond Clear Satin work if sprayed over the Underhood Black Low Gloss? If so, would this make the parts easier to clean and make the Underhood Black more durable?

If you spray Satin gloss over the low gloss black it will no longer be low gloss, it will be Satin black (no longer the correct finish). It will be somewhat easier to clean.

It will work fine on a Aluminum and or Steel Driveshaft.
not sure about a carbon fiber driveshaft.

Is this chemical (acetone) resistant?
