Perfect for my epoxy primer
For a rookie, it seems to do a great job. I have excessively large hands, and tend to turn the pressure knob but that is my problem, not the guns fault.

can the p500 spray gun be use with urethan Primer and clear coat ?
Urethane primer yes but clear coat no. There is not an appropriate needle nozzle size for this paint gun to spray clear coat through it.

Is the Elite P500 (54271) suitable for spray application of Rust Encapsulator Platinum? If not, which models are compatible? Thanks! Doc
The P500 will spray the Rust Encapsulator Platinum with the 1.7mm tip. To spray RE Platinum, a minimum of a 1.4mm tip is needed. One thing to note is to be sure to clean whatever gun you use to spray RE Platinum really, really good. Once RE Platinum dries it is almost impossible to remove and would likely render a gun that isn't fully cleaned useless.
