Eastman Exhaust Roller Cutter use in a high purity semiconductor environmet
Purchased this roller cutter to cut some 2" 316L stainless steel tube for some semiconductor piping installation. You know, sometimes weld caps can be in close proximity to a high purity valve's hand wheel and you can't get a regular roll cutter to travel around the full circumference to complete the cut. The Eastman Exhaust Pipe Roller cutter was the perfect tool for the job! We use a precision welding methed to join pipe which requires putting a perfect face on the pipe for welding. Some employees thought we had faced the end when in reality it was the end result of the Eastman Cutter! A regular cutter would have left a bunch of burrs on the I.D. of the cut and would have required a lot of prep work to mitigate the burrs for welding. Talk about a quality pipe cutting tool for use in a close quarters situation. Thanks, Eastman! No regrets whatsoever on this purchase!

Tried using on 2 1/4" 304 SS exhaust tubing able to make three cuts blade chips really easily so returned

Will it cut 4130 chromoly tubing? What is the maximum wall thickness if so?
Yes it will cut Chrome molly steel up to 14gauge or .078 wall thickness
