Customer Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eastwood EZ turn engine stand I have a 4 cam, 364 pound V6 mounted on this stand. I mounted the motor as low as the adjusters would allow but it takes quite a bit of effort to turn when the heads are at 3 and 9 o'clock. It still beats the old style stands. Packaging was good, no missing/ damaged parts but one of the adjustment arms had to be ground down due to a sloppy weld preventing it from bolting up flush to the center plate. Overall good value.

can a complete assembled 454 be rotated in any position on this stand safely

Asked by: Larry
If the the engine is correctly installed onto the stand you should have no issues as long as the assembled 454 weighs less the 1000Lbs.  For reference a BBC Long block without manifolds and accessories can weigh over 700Lbs.
