After I mix the paint together and reseal it, how long should it last sitting on a shelf.

If your Eastwood Gearhead Gray Single Stage Automotive Car Paint - Intermix Kit is unactivated (i.e., the base color is still in its original container and has not been mixed with activator/hardener), then it can still last 12–18 months, Once you've mixed the Eastwood Gearhead Gray Single Stage Automotive Car Paint - Intermix Kit with its activator/hardener, the shelf life becomes very short 4–6 hours at 70°F (21°C) — and it cannot be stored for later use after mixing.

for the intermix kit(s). am i purchasing both the destroyer gray and boulevard black.. mixing both of them together then when ready to paint add the acitvator? this is a single stage and not a 2 stage correct. can i spray a pearl over this. clearcoat?

Usually there is an intermid coat that you add the Pearl to, Then clear.
